Helping
people to get good jobs is what Minnesota WorkForce Centers are all about.
Winona’s Resource Area is the place where everyone is invited to find job
leads, write resumes, and learn about career planning. There is a Resource
Area in every one of the 53 WorkForce Centers in Minnesota - each is
different in size and layout, but all offer a wide range of information,
services and tools for job seekers, career changers, employers and students,
at no cost. All are physically accessible and offer alternate means
to communicate with staff, including TTY (teletypewriter).
All
Resource Areas have a library of books and directories to assist with job
hunting. The Winona Resource Area retains the following types of books and

planning, beginning computer skills development, and finding information on
the internet that helps with job searching.

Winona Resource Area is staffed by skilled customer oriented employees
available to guide users in their job search and career planning. Staff can:
